GeoTol Pro Fundamentals Wood and Plastic Model Kits – 2009 Standard
A set of approximately 60 wood and plastic models are available that are updated to the 2009 standard. These models are used by the leader to provide participants with a 3-D physical, hands-on learning experience.
The models match the drawings and examples in the DVD programs, Instructor PowerPoint Kits and textbooks. The models include inspection tools such as a height gage, angle plate, sine plate, V-blocks, calipers, functional gages, plastic coordinate system and an array of sample parts.
The sample parts and assemblies represent a variety of manufacturing processes such as machinings, castings, sheet metal, plastics, turned parts etc. The parts are produced “out of square” and imperfect. This assists the leader to illustrate the concept of imperfect datum features and parts relative to the perfect datum referenced frame.
The textbook, DVD series, and models can all be used separately, or in conjunction to provide an exciting and educational experience for the participants.
